Fixed Number Portability (Singapore DDIs)
B3Networks sources Singapore DDIs from a variety of Telco’s in Singapore. However, SingTel is the predominantly player in the market therefore their commercial rules may inadvertently affect all other Telco’s DDIs in Singapore in relation to porting in and out.
(a) Porting IN Blocks of Numbers:
SingTel facilitates ONLY the transfer of a minimum of consecutive block of 10 numbers from other telecommunications providers to their network. This applies to Both ISDN and SIP ranges from the other providers. For PSTN ranges there may be an exception to the rule, please contact us to do a check.
(b) Porting OUT Blocks of Numbers:
SingTel facilitates ONLY the transfer of a minimum of consecutive block of 10 numbers to other telecommunications providers from their network. For PSTN ranges there may be an exception to the rule, please contact us to do a check.
(c) Purchasing with Porting Capabilities
In acknowledging the commercial restrictions above, Service Providers are advised to do the following to ensure full number portability for Singapore DDIs:
Purchase at least one block of consecutive 10 number block from B3networks.
Purchase least one block of consecutive 10 number block from their Telco and do a BYOI trunk with B3Networks in their portal to support these numbers.
Purchasing separated or individual numbers will NOT guarantee full number portability in Singapore.
